Founded in 2004 by Creative Director Andrew Egan, CoolGraySeven is a branding and advertising agency that provides creative direction for fashion, lifestyle and luxury brands.

We believe that great work comes from collaboration and we created CoolGraySeven with the vision of building more intimate relationships with our clients.

How We Work

Our approach is based on the belief that every brand has a unique and ownable “emotional DNA”. Once we uncover a brand’s underlying characteristics, we develop a bespoke program of communications for each client.

Whether it’s an advertising campaign, a website or a suite of branded collateral, CoolGraySeven’s work is marked by a unique quality and sense of craft.

But above all else, our work delivers meaningful results for our clients not only for their brand, but also for the long-term success of the business.

Andrew Egan

Founder & Executive Creative Director

As founder and executive creative director of CoolGraySeven, Andrew is much more than a creative resource for our clients and regularly consults on all aspects of their business including new product development, retail strategy and merchandising. Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Andrew studied graphic design and worked in fashion editorial before establishing the London-based design group Egan Melia in 1993. Here, his work for clients such as Alfred Dunhill, Harvey Nichols, Emanuel Ungaro and Furla attracted attention from all four corners of the globe. In 2000, Andrew joined Ann Taylor as Creative Director and moved to New York City to help modernize the brand for a new, younger consumer. From there, he moved to fashion advertising agency Laird+Partners where he worked on campaigns for Gap and Nautica before founding CoolGraySeven in 2004.

Gavin Manley

Prior to Red Peak, Gavin was at Laird+Partners and before that, he spent almost 8 years at AR New York (A/R media) where he held a number of different roles before becoming Director of Business Development in 2009. AR was purchased by Publicis Groupe in 2012. His experience spans a wide range of industry sectors including fashion & luxury, hospitality, liquor & beverages, financial services and consumer technology. Gavin holds a BA in Philosophy/ Art History from University College Dublin and postgraduate qualifications in arts, business and marketing.
